I went to a really interesting CIM event in Stoke last night, entitled Marketing the NHS. David Thorp, Director of Research and Professional Development at the Chartered Institute of Marketing considered the NHS from the perspective of the marketing profession. It was very interesting to hear about how the NHS is driving to be a more customer orientated organisation and how it is trying to develop staff to improve levels of customer service.
