Marketing Medicine's Managing Director, Katy Draper is to take up the reigns as Chair of Advnatage Business Angels Moor Hall Investment Syndicate from January 2010. Katy takes over as Chair from Brian Powell, Managing Director of P&A Consulting after he led the group for 18 months. Katy said "I am delighted to deliver this role for the group for the next year, although Brian has done an exemplary job and will be a hard act to follow!". Marketing Medicine is very interested in working with start up companies, and often helps businesses to prepare themselves to raise Angel Finance. Katy is very interested in this whole area of work, both from an investee and company perspective, and is looking froward to an interesting year ahead. Katy is the first female chair within Advnatage Business Angels and is committed to raising the profile of Women in Private Equity Finance.
