96% increase in site visits for Global Dialysis PDF Print E-mail
Marketing Medicine has achieved a 96% increase in visitor numbers for a key customer, www.globaldialysis.com in a twelve month period.

Marketing Medicine took over the management of the website at a difficult time in its life.  The owner had been suffering from a debilitating illness and the site was in terminal decline.  However visitor numbers were still fairly buoyant and there was a core loyal following,  supportive of the altruistic nature of the site.

With a vanishingly small budget, lots of hard marketing graft, some expert web programming and a following wind the site is now back to its former glory! Increases in visitor numbes have been achieved through improving the large database of over 15800 dialysis centers around the world, a sophisticated Search Engine Optimisation programme, content rich text and customer engagement strategies such as newsletters, forums and blogs.

Global Dialysis lists every dialysis center around the world, for free, but now gives holiday centers the opportunity to have a premium listing, really boosting their visitor numbers and bookings.

Katy Draper said, "We've done some really innovative things on the site and doubled visitor numbers just through improving content and the visitor experience.  We've followed all Google's white hat strategies and stuck to the altruistic vision for the site and users are flooding back.  I've been working hard with social media platforms and developed a cool jobs board too"

Russell England, who established Global Dialysis in 1999 said, "I'm thrilled with what Marketing Medicine have done with Global Dialysis.  With very little budget they have transformed the user experience and doubled our visitor numbers within a year".

Knowmalaria PDF Print E-mail

Marketing Medicine is pleased to announce that it is working with the team at Health Team Ltd on an exciting new project called Knowmalaria.

Knowmalaria is an innovative tool for travel health professionals to aid clinical decision-making in malaria prevention.

Currently, travel health consultations with non-specialised professionals do not always safely and effectively assess the traveller or consider possible medical interactions and contraindications. The current focus are destination specific and insufficiently traveller specific. How confident are travel health professionals in prescribing a prophylactic regimen? Do they know which questions to ask and the likely interactions and contraindications? Do they have the time and know-how to check for every possible conflict?

Improved safety, efficacy and efficiency is now available at the touch of a button. knowmalaria® is the first intelligent and interactive clinical decision-making tool which assesses the traveller as well as the destination.

Practitioners no longer need to check numerous websites, consult several texts and waste valuable face-to-face consultation time.

By using knowmalaria® they can be confident of making a safe decision knowing they have
considered all the relevant factors.

Marketing Medicine has been working with the group to help them evaluate early stage funding, business planning and potential routes to market prior to their presentation at the ISTM 2011 Conference in Boston.

"I lost my father to bowel cancer, and this year one of my oldest friends lost their husband with nasopharyngeal cancer.  Macmillan provides wonderful support at dreadful times in people's lives. It is a fantastic organisation and I am really proud to be supporting them".

Framework agreement win
Marketing Medicine has won a marketing consultancy contract to put together a Framework Agreement bid for a Swedish multinational healthcare organisation.

This work will involve working with key members of their international team and key opinion leaders on an exciting new assisted living project of strategic importance to their business in the UK.

Katy Draper said " We have now worked on several high profile tenders for organisations and are seeing considerable success for them.  This is immensely satisfying work for us and the businesses we are working with as we demonstrate where we add value by winning them the work!  Organisations are finding Framework Agreements time consuming and confusing.  Because we have done so many we are able to get to the key issues straight away and spot where orgnisations are likely to fall down - plugging those gaps before the tenders are submitted".

Businesses wanting to find out more about using our proven bid writing service are urged to contact us on +44 1543 253109 and we can give you an idea of costs once we understand more about the bid in question.
